Highlights of this class: a warm-up that pays attention to the core, Forearmstand + Scorpion, Forward Roll into the Hammock, and a focus on core strength and balance.
When we think of stability, we imagine something constant, strong, and reliable. In many ways, when we watch the breath flow, we witness consistency, strength and reliability in action. However, if we look for stability in our daily lives outside of our inner experience, we will never find it. Or, at least, we will only find it for short periods of time. This is because everything in the physical world is impermanent, and constantly changing. We know this, and yet our minds and emotions are constantly surprised and sometimes thrown into turmoil when we experience change.
Just remember, you can always find your way back to stability through watching the breath. And, moving through the asanas is the easiest way to focus on the breath for a long period of time.
